HAH's free health check up and medication distribution program have a significant impact on improving the health and well-being of the thousands of unprivileged rural community in Bangladesh. These patients used to make personal or financial sacrifices to afford their prescription medicines, our report finds. And for one-third of them, chose to purchases household expenses over healthcare. HAH aims to bridge the gap between the unmet healthcare needs and impoverished community in Bangladesh.
